Sega announced today that Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will be released on PS3 on June 5 and Xbox 360 on June 6, for £9.99 or 1200 XBLA Gamerpoints respectively.
In no time at all gamers will be able to suit up as Akira or one of 18 other characters from the series. DLC is being sold in the form of customisation packs, which will sell for £3.59 or 400 XBLA Gamerpoints.
The game will feature a training mode, an eight player online room mode and a match record feature, where you will be able to record your ass-whooping at the hands of a VF5 master.
It’s good to hear Sega’s AM2 studio are still putting out titles. Here’s to a few more Sega IPs finding their way onto PSN and XBLA soon. Panzer Dragoon Saga, Skies of Arcadia, Seaman and Shenmue would be on Level Up Gaming UKs wishlist. Update: An industry insider looks to have confirmed the release of Shenmue 1 and 2 on XBLA and PSN. Woot!
